Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,930 per week

Job Summary A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Hilo, Hawaii. The assignment starts on 07/20/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with a work schedule of 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts. The RN will provide level medical‑surgical care to adult patients and may float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units. Responsibilities Provide med/surg level care to patients aged 18 and over. Float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units as needed. Utilize Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Pyxis, wound vacuum and chest tubes. Attend orientation and department‑specific training during the first week. Arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointments. Participate in float rotation if required. Qualifications Current Hawaii Nursing License (must be obtained by the start date). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Minimum of 2 + years of experience in med‑surg or a higher level of care. Flexible availability for day or night shifts.
