Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active State PTA license or license eligible in Georgia.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early or late shifts or condensed weeks.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through treatment within the patient's capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and condition changes.
• Document treatment and patient interactions per clinic policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and rehabilitation team members.
• Collaborate with teammates to develop skills and clinic culture.
