Dimondale, United States | Posted on 07/10/2026 Project Manager – PMO Supporting Department of Treasury and Michigan Gaming Control Board This Senior Project Manager (PM3) role is part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) and supports the Michigan Department of Treasury with a multi‑year high priority project. The PM works closely with DTMB Agency Services technical teams and agency executives/stakeholders in the delivery of various projects for Michigan Department of Treasury. The position requires working in person 2 days a week and remote 3 days, and supports a fast‑paced multi‑vendor deployment with a hybrid workforce. Basic Duties Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets. Prepare information for presentations tailored to executives, managers, and project team members. Monitor, control, and communicate project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks. Maintain clear, timely, and accurate communications with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, program managers, and MGCB/DTMB management. Provide leadership and foster collaboration between technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and commitment. Develop and maintain key SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) deliverables throughout the lifecycle: Project Charter, Project Schedule, Project Budget, Communication Plan, Project Status Report, Risk and Issue Management Plans, Change Requests, and Project Closeout Summary. Manage communication interfaces with other agencies. Ensure the project adheres to the SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM) with appropriate transitions through stages and phases. Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process, ensuring all Change Requests are approved before action. Create Corrective Action Plans (CAP) when necessary for projects in yellow or red status. Understand the impact of change requests on project benefits and update related artifacts accordingly. Review vendor contracts to actively manage deliverables and adherence to the approval procedure. Facilitate stakeholder interactions by clarifying expectations and ensuring deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed. Qualifications In-depth knowledge and experience in IT project management, including industry standards and best practices (Required: 7 years). Proven record delivering projects on time and on budget in a formal project manager role (Required: 7 years). Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk and issue logs (Required: 7 years). Experience developing and delivering project status updates (Required: 7 years). Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (e.g., Clarity) (Required: 5 years). Advanced working knowledge of MS Project (Required: 5 years). Experience handling a variety of stakeholders and system owners from other departments (Required: 5 years). Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS solutions (Required: 5 years). Experience providing project management services for IT projects involving commercial off‑the‑shelf technology (COTS) (Required: 5 years). Experience managing a multi‑vendor environment in a government setting (Required: 5 years). Developed and maintained detailed project integration schedules (Required: 5 years). Prior developer/senior technical project management experience (Required: 5 years). Scrum Master Certified (Required: 5 years). System Security Plans (SSP) (Required: 5 years).
