This role focuses on non-invasive cardiology services and offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to deliver high-quality, coordinated care that improves patient outcomes and supports healthier communities.BenefitsEligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:17 days of paid time off11 paid holidays and one floating holidayMedical, dental, and vision coverage through UnitedHealthcare401(k) retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid life insuranceOpportunities for professional growthKey Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions• Interpret and oversee non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, including echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, and ECGs/EKGs• Review and interpret nuclear cardiology studies when appropriately credentialed• Interpret Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI studies when trained and credentialed• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines• Provide preventive cardiology services and cardiovascular risk assessments• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialty providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care• Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and patient safety standards• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, and continuing medical education programs• Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications• Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease required• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license required• Current DEA registration and controlled substance certification, as applicable• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program• Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications• Expertise in interpreting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and evidence-based treatment guidelines• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team• Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills• Experience with advanced cardiac imaging, including Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI, preferred• Experience in value-based care, population health, and quality improvement initiatives preferred• Bilingual skills preferredJoin Our TeamJoin a team committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care and improving the health of the communities we serve.
