County of Dare seeks a Telecommunicator to perform intermediate technical work dispatching law enforcement, fire, EMS, and non-emergency calls on a rotating shift basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will operate radios, telephones, alarm systems, recording devices and computer terminals; maintain logs; and coordinate emergency responses while working under supervision.
