Senior Actuarial Analyst - Remote

Senior Health Actuarial AnalystSenior health actuarial analyst role on Optum Health's reserving and forecasting team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. You'll support monthly reserving and quarterly forecasting for Medicare Advantage business, building models and analyzing health care cost, utilization, and financial data. The role is remote within the U.S., except Minneapolis- and Washington, D.C.-area hires must work onsite at least four days weekly.RequirementsMust haveBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or related fieldOn the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams2+ years of Actuarial experience, with a focus on technical skill developmentIntermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel (including experience with VBA)Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with SQLStrongly preferredExperience working in the finance-related field of the health care industryNice to haveProven solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings effectivelyTools: Excel, Redshift.
