Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that quality, safety, and productivity standards are met and customer requirements are satisfied. Work in a manufacturing environment during the 1st shift from 5:00 am to 1:45 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break. Potential OT!

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to manufacture panels using wood and metals
• Inspect product to ensure it conforms to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products utilizing lifting equipment when available.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Complete additional tasks and projects depending on the needs of the department.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read a blueprint is a plus.

Work Environment

The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material, such as denim, without holes. Steel-toed boots are needed (not provided). Safety glasses, earplugs, and safety sleeves are provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
