Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted or sensitive utility areas.
• Support site operations during weather events, outages, and/or other service-related disruptions by following post orders and communicating timely updates on security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
