Houseman/Maintenance Helper

We're looking for a reliable, service-minded Houseman/Maintenance Helper to support our housekeeping and maintenance teams. This role is perfect for someone with basic maintenance knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to keeping our property clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light painting, replacing bulbs, unclogging drains, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support housekeeping by removing trash, delivering linens, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.
• Perform regular property walk-throughs to identify maintenance or cleanliness needs.
• Help set up, move, or arrange furniture and equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest or staff requests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in clean, organized condition.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, or carpentry).
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Hospitality or property maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
