The City of Plano is looking for a Senior Community Outreach Specialist to help us strengthen relationships between the city and those we serve. As a Senior Community Outreach Specialist, you’ll develop and lead outreach initiatives that ensure our residents feel seen, heard and included. You’ll work across departments to support citywide programs, events and services. You’ll also help shape how we share stories, gather input and build trust. We’re looking for someone who can work with empathy, communicate with clarity, and help make government more accessible and transparent. You will work closely with the department director and have responsibility for key external-facing initiatives. The Communications and Community Outreach department serves the community through in-office work and in-person engagement. To support this level of service, this role will include occasional evening and weekend hours.
