As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:45 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate site contacts. Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. CPR certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
