Purchasing Coordinator
Clermont, FL | $17 hourly
Our client is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their busy, fast-paced, energetic office in the Clermont FL area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, organized professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning a unique business.
What You'll DoAs the Purchasing Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping the company's purchasing and inventory processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate purchasing activities from order placement through delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Work closely with internal teams to understand purchasing needs
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Track orders and help ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Work with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries
- Use purchasing and computer systems to keep information organized and up to date
- Help identify opportunities for cost-effective purchasing
- Handle multiple priorities while keeping deadlines and details on track
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or purchasing coordination experience
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with purchasing systems; QuickBooks experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines
- A team-player attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating with the team
