How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, conducting both routine and complex studies in accordance with accepted protocols. Operate imaging equipment by setting up, adjusting, and manually maneuvering transducers, while accurately positioning patients and selecting technical parameters. Ensure clinical quality by recognizing significant structures, pathology, and artifacts, and submitting high-quality images and documentation to PACS promptly. Maintain safety and compliance by implementing safety standards, performing quality control, and ensuring all activities meet regulatory agency requirements. Manage department environment by assisting in the maintenance of clean, safe, and orderly procedure rooms, storage areas, and other departmental facilities What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
