Registered Nurse/NICU

Overview Join our dynamic team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at SMMC, located in Apple Valley, CA. Our NICU Level III handles approximately 190 births per month, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for experienced nurses. Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care for newborns in the NICU. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in NICU or a related specialty. Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS. Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius for local rate consideration. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Schedule and Hours Start Date: ASAP Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. Guaranteed hours, with the facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
