Join us as we help shape the next generation of Data Center technology solutions.Role OverviewThe Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Solution Architect plays a critical role in driving field sales for Lenovo's Data Center portfolio. As a member of the field sales team, you will partner closely with customers, sales teams, and ecosystem partners to design, position, and deliver tailored Data Center solutions that solve complex business challenges.This role is highly customer?facing and consultative, requiring a blend of deep technical expertise, solution?selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships at every level—from technical practitioners to executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to C?suite executivesDevelop and deliver compelling technical presentations and solution content to a broad customer audienceArchitect end?to?end Data Center solutions using Lenovo products, services, and partner technologiesSupport and drive sales objectives to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targetsServe as the technical author and subject matter expert for RFPs, RFIs, and proposal responsesLead configurations, demonstrations, and interoperability discussions to meet customer requirementsManage and support customer proof?of?concept (PoC) and proof?of?technology (PoT) engagementsRepresent Lenovo at industry trade shows, events, seminars, and customer briefingsEnsure successful deployment of sold solutions and deliver an outstanding customer experience post?saleWhat Makes You Successful in This RoleTranslate customer Data Center challenges into scalable, business?aligned technical solutionsApply a solution?selling and business transformation mindset rather than product?centric sellingClearly articulate Lenovo's vision, strategy, and architectural approach across a wide range of Data Center solution areas, including:Hyper?Converged Infrastructure (HCI)High Performance Computing (HPC)Big DataIoT and AIVirtualization and StorageCollaborate effectively with regional sales teams and channel partners to grow solutions businessWork closely with integrators, partners, and go?to?market teams to execute territory sales strategiesContinuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve customer outcomesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience7 to 10 + years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer?facing technical role.Preferred QualificationsStrong consultative selling skills with excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation abilitiesSelf?motivated, proactive professional capable of driving collaboration across cross?functional internal teams and customersProven success leading and winning complex server, storage, and/or networking solutions in Data Center environmentsStrong ability to engage customers, understand business needs, and align technical solutions accordinglyWillingness and ability to travel to customer sites and industry events as requiredExperience with:Server and desktop virtualizationSoftware?defined infrastructureCloud technologiesStorage solutionsBusiness continuity and systems managementData Center operationsHands?on experience with:VMware, Linux, Hyper?V, Windows Server, NutanixSystems management toolsx86 server architecturesFamiliarity with technologies such as OpenStack, SAP, HPC workloads, SQL, Microsoft Azure, and NetApp storageExperience with IBM and/or Lenovo x86 server platformsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
