Position Purpose; Responsible for greeting guests with a smile, escorting them to tables, providing menus, answering phones, taking to-go orders and facilitating Curbside Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•    Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
•    In charge of the register, to include processing cash and credit card transactions, tipping out wait staff, and balancing the register at the end of the shift.
•    Host/Hostess & Cashier may assist wait staff with various tasks when needed, i.e. bussing and setting up tables, serving non-alcoholic beverages, etc.
•    Ensure each table is set with table linens, silverware, and other dining room supplies.
•    Answer all phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
•    Inform all guests of special events upon inquiry, answer questions regarding restaurant operations, and take reservations.
•    Take all to-go orders, both over the phone, and guests at counter.
•    Knowledgeable in accepting all coupons, comps, and dining vouchers.
•    Must be professional, polite, and reliable and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
•    Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.

Special Skills/Certification  
•    Proven ability to work with numbers and cash accurately.  
•    Must be competent with computerized register system.
•    Must maintain excellent customer service skills.

Language Skills    
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating/procedure manuals.  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.  

Mathematical Skills        
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability  
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
