Position Description: REGISTERED NURSE NEEDEDFull-Time Day OpeningReady to leave bedside burnout behind and still make a difference?Delta College is seeking a Program Coordinator to help train the next generation of practical nurses at our Baton Rouge North Campus.If you are an RN looking for a role with more predictable hours, meaningful work, and the opportunity to use your experience to lead a team of nurses, this may be the right fit.We are desiring to fill this opening as soon as possible.Why nurses are interested in this opportunity:Full-time.Day schedules.Weekends and holidays off.No prior teaching experience required.Management experience preferredOpportunity to step out of the hospital grind while still using nursing & administrative skills.Chance to mentor and shape future nurses.Position Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to :Lead a team of PN InstructorsCoordinate with the Practical Nursing BoardEnsure student outcomes meet all standardsEnsure program meets all applicable standardsCoordinate with clinical site staffSupport student growth in a professional learning environmentRequirements:Current and valid Louisiana RN licenseMinimum of 4 years of nursing experienceAt least 1 year of med-surg experienceProfessional, dependable, student-focused approachAbility to pass pre-employment drug and background screeningManagement experience is preferred, but not required.
