Current Client Opportunity We are currently seeking a caregiver for: Male patient in Allen, TX Schedule: 7 days a week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (multiple caregivers may be assigned) Care Needs: Assistance with ADLs and ostomy bag care/cleaning Environment: Small dog in the home What We Offer We value our employees and prioritize your well-being by offering a comprehensive benefits package: Weekly pay with direct deposit Flexible scheduling (PRN and part-time opportunities) Employee referral bonus Mileage and reimbursement from client to client in same day ($0.30/mile) Free training and continuing education Career growth opportunities – we promote from within Nurse and Employee of the Month recognition Responsibilities Provide personal care services tailored to each client’s needs Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Perform ostomy care and bag cleaning per care plan and training Assist with: Meal preparation and feeding Light housekeeping and linen changes Transportation to appointments and errands Outdoor activities and shopping Support client mobility (active and passive exercises) per care plan Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing Requirements Minimum of one (1) year of caregiver or home care experience Experience with or willingness to be trained in ostomy care High school diploma or GED Current CPR certification Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray) Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Comfortable working in a home with a small dog Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, etc.) Work-Life Balance We strongly support work-life balance by offering: Flexible schedules Weekend and evening opportunities In-home and facility-based assignments Join BrightStar Care and be part of a team that values compassion, excellence, and you.
