POSITION: Medical Records Clerk
SCHEDULE: Day shifts
FACILITY: Central NM - onsite position
LOCATION: Los Lunas, NM
- Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records, logs, and health information systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Ensure the confidentiality, security, and proper release of medical information in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies
- Retrieve, file, and manage clinical documentation, including laboratory reports, consultation reports, and other healthcare records
- Support healthcare operations through appointment tracking, report preparation, record management, and administrative support activities
- Assist with compliance initiatives, statistical reporting, record retention requirements, and continuous improvement of medical records processes
