TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lancaster, South Carolina, 29720!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patients at a ratio of 1:6–1:7, ensuring timely assessment and intervention
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry readings
• Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete all required facility modules prior to start date and attend mandatory staff meetings
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must complete all assigned facility modules by the Thursday before the start date
• Virtual interview required prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience with demonstrated ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital environment
