Valley Nursing Healthcare is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive and team-focused environment. We are currently seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. 

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life while building meaningful relationships each day. 

 

Position Overview  

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and supports the nursing team in delivering exceptional care and service. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating

  • Provide mobility assistance and safely transfer residents using gait belts and mechanical lifts as needed

  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team

  • Obtain and document vital signs accurately

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers

  • Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures

  • Follow infection control guidelines and safety standards at all times

  • Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect

     

Qualifications  

  • Current and active CNA certification in NC

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • CPR/BLS certification preferred

  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care 

     

Shift Availability  

  • Full-Time / ALL SHIFTS!

  • Weekend and holiday rotation required

  • Flexible scheduling options available
