Services include obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, infertility support, and inclusive LGBTQ+ care.Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Location: 700 Central Avenue, DoverAs a Clinic/Practice Assistant, you will be an essential part of our community-based practice and help create a welcoming, efficient experience for every patient. You will support daily administrative and clinical operations, coordinate patient visits, respond to calls and requests, and partner with practice leadership, clinicians, and colleagues in a high-volume outpatient setting.You may be a great fit if you are a collaborative, well-organized customer service professional who communicates clearly, manages competing priorities, and enjoys helping patients and colleagues. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting a positive and efficient practice.What You’ll Do• Perform routine administrative and clerical duties that support the clinical service and physician practice.• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate appointment records.• Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit.• Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, take messages, and route inquiries appropriately.• Support check-in, check-out, patient flow, and waiting room activity.• Process referrals, diagnostic and laboratory orders, prior authorizations, and registration information.• File and scan documents, print schedules, and maintain patient records.• Obtain medical records and laboratory test results.• Process patient billing forms and, when required, accept co-payments.• Open and distribute mail and faxes, and prepare forms, records, schedules, and memos as directed.• Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and colleagues.QualificationsWhat You’ll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Up to one year of healthcare office experience required.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of office procedures, including filing, copying, scanning, printing, and faxing.Ability to use a phone system, manage non-routine calls, and resolve routine issues appropriately.Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including composing and editing emails, memos, and letters and taking complete, accurate messages.Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow established protocols, and work effectively within systems.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Why Join Mass General Brigham?Our employees are our most important resource.
