Quality Inspector- Weekend Shift

If you thrive in environments where product quality is of upmost importance, our Quality Technician role might be the perfect fit for you!ResponsibilitiesPerforms routine Incoming and In-process dimensional and visual inspections based on established quality specifications.Inspects product samples to evaluate the quality of the full product batch prior to release to finished goods inventoryInitiate Non-Conforming Material reports as requiredIdentify and ensure the movement of non-conforming materials to designated quarantine areasInput accurate and timely data into quality reporting systems.Ensure inspections are timely, effective, and routinely maintained.Trains the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence as needed.Perform product and manufacturing process audits on the shop floor.Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding quality issues found.Performs required SAP Transactions.Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.Performs other duties as assigned or requiredQualifications:Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, micrometers, and calipers.Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructionsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant technical tools.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of inventory control simultaneously.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and suppliers.Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement.Experience with SAP preferredBilingual in Spanish is a plusValues:At Haydon, we live by our core values:Prioritizing health and securityPushing ourselves to find better waysListening with curiosity and open mindsActing on behalf of the people we serveHonoring our commitmentsJoin Us in Expanding Possibilities:Haydon is redefining what's possible in the construction industry by fostering relationships, discovering innovative solutions, expanding to meet customer and market needs, and constructing the projects of tomorrow.Bring Your Spark to Haydon!Direct applicants only, please.
