Overview Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office Location: Vernon Hills, IL HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team for our newest clinic in Vernon Hills, IL. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Additionally this person will be responsible for helping the clinic grow and establish this new clinic. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements. Compensation 65k-90k based on license type and credentials + Uncapped Commission Greenfield Commission plan (in addition to the normal HearingLife Commission plan!) Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and health savings account (HSA) 401(k) plan with employer match Tuition reimbursement and continuing education reimbursement Maternity leave Short-term and long-term disability coverage Company-paid life insurance Pet insurance Employee and family discounts on hearing aids and related products Dependent care flexible spending plan Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner Leadership & Professional Development Participate in leadership development and growth initiatives Opportunity to mentor or precept future hearing care professionals Internal advancement opportunities into senior and leadership roles Qualifications Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements Strong desire to work with the local community Experience generating new patients and patient referral networks HearingLife is an Equal Opportunity and Affluent Action employer.
