Finance Transformation Project Manager

Our large client is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple strategic initiatives across Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Finance Operations . This temporary/contract role will play a key part in driving process improvement and AI-enabled transformation efforts while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external consulting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects across Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Finance Operations.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Support AI-driven transformation initiatives focused on areas such as bank reconciliations, Source-to-Pay (S2P), invoicing, and Accounts Payable.
• Collaborate with internal business leaders, technology teams, and external consulting partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project status updates, and executive communications.
• Identify roadblocks and drive resolution strategies to keep projects on track.
• Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives across finance functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience supporting finance, accounting, treasury, procurement, or operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Treasury, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Invoicing, or Source-to-Pay processes.
• Exposure to AI, automation, digital transformation, ERP, or technology-enabled finance projects preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and external consulting resources.

Preferred Background

• Finance transformation, shared services, or process improvement experience.
• Experience working with large consulting firms or enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance automation tools.
