Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Construction Assembler to join our Fibrebond team in Minden, LA! This is a great opportunity if you enjoy working with your hands and have an interest in manufacturing or are an experienced construction or manufacturing professional looking for a change.The core hours average 54 per week (including OT) between 6 am - 4:30 pm.There is overtime every other Saturday from 6 am - 2:30 pm.The hourly range for this position is $16.50-$19.96 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Construction Assembler is responsible for assembling structural wall systems and building components. This role works as part of a production crew and uses hand and power tools to complete routine to semi‑complex assembly tasks while following engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions, with the primary objective of delivering a finished product on time and in adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton’s modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond’s strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana.In this function you will:Ensure work areas and buildings are clean and free of debrisAssist in reading and interpreting blueprints to determine the placement of carpentry and structural components within buildingsAssist in cutting wall paneling and other carpentry components using various sawsApply glue to plywood and install walls and floors per specificationsInstall walls, ceiling paneling, and moldings using adhesives, fasteners, hand tools, and power toolsLoad and position wall panels and components during the assembly processPerform work involving insulation and cement as required by the build processComplete other tasks as assigned by the crew leader or supervisorObserve proper housekeeping and safety procedures, keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and orderly by performing 5S duties and maintaining a continuous improvement mindsetReport irregularities or equipment malfunctions to leadershipFoster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals and philosophies and encourages continuous improvement through teamwork and participationPerform other job duties as assignedQualifications:Required (Basic) QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionNo relocation Benefits provided.
