Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

RN – Cath Lab

Shift Pattern: 4x10s (rotating)

Shift Times: 0700-1730 (rotating), 0700-1730 late, and 1000-2030 (as needed)

Weekends: Every other weekend required

On-Call: Rotating call required (includes evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)

Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Requirements:

• RN with minimum 2 years of experience
• Minimum 1 year of EP experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EMR: EPIC
• Interventional scrub experience
• Familiarity with IABP and Impella
• Must pass Relias EKG exam

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as an RN circulator providing conscious sedation under attending direction.
• Manage sterile supplies and handle equipment during procedures.
• Assess patient vitals and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in cross-training for hemodynamics/monitor-tech role as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Max 7 days of request time off; no RTO the first week; no new RTO after submission
• Licensing notes: MO candidates can submit without a license (requires MO or compact); IL license required at time of submission
• COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccination required (with medical/religious exemptions)
