Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Clyde, NC. Work schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Ready to travel to additional sites when needed and have reliable transportation. Benefits Sign‑on bonus of $3,000.00. Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
