Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting in Springfield, OH. This role involves delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via teletherapy
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Delivering remote therapy sessions using approved telepractice methods
- Monitoring and documenting student progress regularly
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to support student communication goals
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant educational and telehealth regulations
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proven experience in teletherapy or telespeech services in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children
- Familiarity with telepractice platforms and associated technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills appropriate for remote therapy
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively in a virtual setting
