The role involves working night shifts of 12 hours. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar specialty. An active Ohio nursing license or compact license is required. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS must be current and in hand. References must be obtained from a supervisory level within the past 12 months. Travelers must adhere to all safety and compliance standards set by the facility. Applicants must demonstrate competence in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices during orientation. Candidates will need to undergo a background check and drug screening within the required time frame. This position requires adherence to policy on nicotine usage, with specific exemptions for nursing staff. Candidates who have recently worked as permanent or per diem staff are subject to a one-year wait before applying again. Continuous employment may lead to contract extensions, with specific requirements for compliance and competency evaluations.
