Radiologic Technologist - EP Lab

Position Overview UHS Wilson Medical Center is hiring a Radiology Tech to support our growing Electrophysiology Lab team. This role provides technical and clinical support for both interventional and non‑interventional cardiac procedures and works closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader EP Lab team to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care. The position operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with no weekend or holiday work required. Compensation and Work Hours Weekly Hours: 40 Primary Work Shift: Day (Regular Scheduled) Compensation Range: $37.00 – $55.50 per hour, depending on experience Essential Functions Provides technical support for all EP Lab procedures, including structural heart procedures, temporary pacemaker insertion, implantable cardioverter‑defibrillator (ICD) implantation, and ablations. Assists with both sterile and non‑sterile clinical support for the above procedures. Operates advanced imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols for interventional and non‑interventional patient procedures. Ensures proper safety standards are met and radiation safety practices are adhered to. Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary. Performs quality assurance checks on equipment. Assists in maintaining supply inventory for all EP Lab procedures. Demonstrates working knowledge of UHS information systems. Demonstrates knowledge of coding procedures for accurate billing of all EP Lab procedures. Learns new techniques and technology by attending lectures, seminars, and educational readings. Non‑Essential Functions Will perform other duties as assigned. Education / Experience Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology. One (1) year of experience in a full‑services hospital as a radiologic technologist. Preferred: Previous experience as a radiologic technologist in an EP Lab. License / Certification Minimum Required: New York State license as Radiologic Technologist. Preferred: Not applicable. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
