Packers and Boxers are responsible for accurately counting, packaging, and placing stacked tortillas into boxes on a fast-paced production line while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

• Accurately count and package tortillas into boxes.
• Place stacked tortillas on a fast-paced production line.
• Maintain quality and efficiency standards.
• Stand and work for a 12-hour shift.
• Handle and move boxes weighing between 15 and 20 pounds, with a maximum weight of 32 pounds.
• Manually stack up to 45 boxes per hour onto pallets when necessary.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and dependability.
• Practice safe material handling and follow company safety procedures.
• Adhere to food manufacturing standards and required PPE guidelines.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to identify and analyze problems and plan solutions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Focus on maintaining excellent quality.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently within a team.

• Experience in production, packaging, and boxing.
• Knowledge of palletizing and food manufacturing processes.

Our SQF certified world-class facility in Caldwell, Idaho, manufactures and supplies high-quality tortillas using the finest ingredients and time-tested processes. With over 45 years of experience, we produce about 5 million tortillas per day and employ over 300 full-time employees, serving customers worldwide. The facility can be loud, requiring earplugs, and maintains a comfortable temperature of around 70-75 degrees depending on the season.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, ID.

The pay range for this position is $16.60 - $18.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
