Position summary

We’re recruiting a full‑time Director of Rehabilitation (DoR) for a 270‑bed facility in Las Vegas. This leadership role oversees PT/OT/SLP/RT services, drives clinical quality, manages operational and financial performance, and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across a department of 12 full‑time staff and two large gym spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, onboard, coach, and retain rehab staff (PT, OT, SLP, RT, PTA, OTA) 
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality clinical services, evidence‑based practice, and excellent patient outcomes 
• Manage departmental budget, payroll, productivity metrics, and resource allocation 
• Maintain regulatory compliance (state/federal, CMS, accreditation) and ensure accurate documentation/audits 
• Implement and monitor clinical programs, quality initiatives, and performance improvement plans 
• Build interdisciplinary relationships with nursing, case management, physicians, and leadership 
• Oversee staff scheduling; support predictable Monday–Friday coverage and escalate staffing needs 
• Serve as the clinical/operational liaison for facility leadership and participate in executive meetings as needed

Location & schedule

• Las Vegas, NV — full‑time, permanent 
• 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday; no weekend rotations

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $83,000–$114,000 
• Placement fee applies (agency/facility arrangement)

Qualifications

• Open to all disciplines (PT, OT, SLP, RT) — must have previous Director of Rehabilitation experience 
• Active, unencumbered state license/certification in your specialty (or imminent eligibility) 
• Proven leadership/management experience in rehabilitation with departmental oversight of staff and operations 
• Strong knowledge of regulatory/compliance standards, documentation requirements, and quality metrics (CMS, state regs) 
• Budgeting, staffing, productivity tracking, and operational oversight experience 
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Preferred

• Experience in post‑acute/acute care or LTAC settings 
• Prior success improving outcomes, productivity, and staff retention
