Looking for a role where you can shape supplier strategy, drive localization, and make a major impact across the business?

This is a global automotive manufacturer with strong international backing and continued investment across its U.S. operations.

You'll take ownership of the Purchasing function across the U.S. business, leading sourcing strategy, supplier development, and procurement performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly visible leadership role with genuine influence across the organization.

A major focus will be developing a strong U.S.-based supplier network, improving localization, supplier performance, and long-term supply continuity. You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance while helping drive overall business growth.

This role suits someone commercially strong, confident leading negotiations, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. There's real autonomy in the position, with the opportunity to shape processes, develop suppliers, and build long-term partnerships.

The Role:

• Lead Purchasing strategy across the U.S. operation
• Drive cost reduction, supplier quality, and procurement performance initiatives
• Lead supplier negotiations, sourcing decisions, and supplier development activities

The Person:

• Strong background in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain leadership within automotive manufacturing
• Experience leading sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and localization initiatives
• Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and supplier development
• Confident leader, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
