Telemetry RN – | Quick Summary

Unit: 20-Bed Telemetry Unit (currently not Stepdown)
Ratios: 1:5 Telemetry Patients

Required:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year Travel RN experience
• Charge Nurse and/or Preceptor experience
• Telemetry interpretation skills
• Heparin drip experience
• Driver's License required with submission (must live >50 miles from facility)

Preferred:

• EPIC experience

Patient Population:

• Post-cath
• Cardiac/Telemetry
• Med-Surg with telemetry needs
• Respiratory patients

Schedule:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hrs/week
• Every other weekend & holiday

Floating:

• Telemetry
• Med-Surg
• ED boarders if needed

Support:

• Dedicated Charge RN
• 2 PCTs for 20 beds
• RT and Hospitalist available 24/7

Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
