About This Role
Little Cub Academy is a family-owned child care center, now opened in the Mukwonago area. We are hiring teachers to join our team to help us create a warm and loving environment for the children we care for. Little Cub Academy strives to be a second home for our families. What You'll Do- Caring for and planning activities and games for school age children
- Getting kids on and off the bus
- Building relationship with parents and working together to best provide for our children
- Creating a safe and clean environment in the classroom
- Offering snack to children and cleaning up when finished
- Loving and caring
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Infant/child CPR (or willing to complete)
- Must clear full background check
- Must pass health screening
- Childcare coursework- Abusive Head Trauma Prevention training and Mandated Reporter (free online classes)
- Professional experience in an early childhood program
- Childcare classes - Introduction to Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies in the classroom.
- 240 hours of experience in a licensed child care facility/school setting
