Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Center Overnight Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns while reflecting Allied Universal’s caring culture, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property grounds, building exteriors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting unusual conditions, property concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
