Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies that meet their specific functional goals.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ proven practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to promote comprehensive, holistic care for each patient.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to ensure continued progress at home.
• Document Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine approaches as necessary, ensuring every patient remains on track for their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is also required.
