Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Services $10,000 Two Year Commitment Bonus Job Type: Full Time | Nights Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 6p-6a Job Overview Centerpoint - Paris is a 58‑bed acute care facility in the heart of the Bluegrass, part of Lifepoint Health. More About Our Team Our 9 bed emergency room team is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses, and staff trained in providing emergency care. The ER works alongside our Behavioral Health unit to provide crisis evaluations. How You'll Contribute Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Life Support certification. One year of Emergency Room RN experience preferred. BCLS required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred.
