Under general direction of the Branch Chief, Office of Classification and Hiring Services, a Supervisor I, the Analyst II provides technical guidance to managers and supervisors regarding current personnel issues, policy and procedure changes, and policy implementation. The Analyst II demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, timely and exceeds our customers' expectationsEligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Analyst II exam. Working Conditions
Position is located at 1750 E 4th St, Santa Ana, CA 92705.

This position is eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’ current telework policy. While Caltrans supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate may be required to conduct business travel on behalf of the Department or commute to the headquarted location. Business travel reimbursements considers an employee's designated Headquarters location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations and applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquarted location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. 1. Describe your Classification & Hiring knowledge and experience in a Human Resources environment.
2. Describe how you organize and prioritize multiple assignments with competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Include the tools or methods you use and provide a specific work example demonstrating your approach.
