Dental AssistantAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting dental assistants to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in Los Angeles, CA and surrounding satellite locations, including Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, Bakersfield CBOC, Santa Maria CBOC, Los Angeles ACC, and Captain Rosemary Bryant Mariner Outpatient Clinic. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance across dental specialtiesMaintain and disinfect dental equipmentTake and evaluate x-raysRecord patient info, manage dental records and software systemsAssist with inventory and safety protocolsSupport and train dental traineesQualificationsCurrent unrestricted license by the Committee on Dental Auxiliaries (COMDA) for the State of CaliforniaMinimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistantDental Radiological CertificateCurrent BLS and/or CPR certificationValid TB testAbility to successfully undergo a government-sponsored background investigation (US citizenship required)Pay range: $22 - $26.93 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
