CT Technologist

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise and ensures the highest quality of imaging while adhering to safety protocols and standards.

Schedule

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 PM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Current ARRT CT registry is required.
• Active New York state license is required.
• Possesses a working knowledge of CT quality control procedures, medical and surgical aseptic procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to effectively organize patient care and set priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as per established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control procedures.
• Assist in organizing patient flow and care during procedures.

• Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
