About the Opportunity

A growing regional fire and life safety company is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a multi-line business across service operations, fire suppression, electronic security, intercommunication, installation, and enterprise sales.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced operator who can take ownership of business performance, develop high-performing teams, grow strategic customer relationships, and help shape the next phase of a successful regional platform.

The General Manager will serve as the senior regional business leader and will be accountable for P&L performance, revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA contribution, customer relationships, operational performance, and team development across multiple business lines.

This role is well suited for an experienced leader who is equally comfortable reviewing financial performance, developing enterprise relationships, removing operational barriers, and walking a job site with field teams.

What You Will Lead

Business Performance & P&L Ownership

• Ownthe regional P&L, including revenue, gross margin, overhead, andEBITDA contribution.
• Establishannual operating plans and revenue targets across service, suppression,security, and installation.
• Identifyopportunities to expand into new verticals, geographies, and servicecapabilities.
• Reportbusiness performance to executive leadership with visibility into keyleading and lagging indicators.

Enterprise Sales & Strategic Accounts

• Leador directly support the pursuit of large enterprise accounts, generalcontractors, and property management firms.
• Buildand maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and strategicpartners.
• Driveaccount retention, customer satisfaction, and account expansion.
• Alignsales growth with operational capacity to ensure new business can besuccessfully delivered and supported.
• Partnerwith operational leadership to ensure effective transitions fromconstruction and installation into long-term service.

Operational Leadership

• Providestrategic direction and performance accountability to operationalleadership.
• Removeresource and operational barriers that impact service, testing, andinstallation teams.
• Establishhigh standards for safety, compliance, quality, and customer experience.
• Overseemanagement-level hiring and organizational structure decisions.

Culture & Leadership Development

• Builda high-performance culture centered on accountability, communication, andcontinuous improvement.
• Developinternal leadership and identify future managers and high-potentialemployees.
• Createstronger leadership depth and succession capabilities.
• Representthe company professionally with customers, industry partners, employees,and the community.

Platform Growth & Collaboration

The General Manager will work collaboratively with executive leadership and affiliated business partners to identify opportunities to share best practices, resources, market intelligence, talent, vendor relationships, service capabilities, and geographic coverage.

This leader will be expected to think beyond a single business unit and identify opportunities that strengthen the broader organization.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 10+years of experience in fire-life safety, fire suppression, low-voltagesecurity, or a related specialty contracting environment.
• Deepexperience in fire-life safety is strongly preferred.
• Constructionor contracting experience is a meaningful differentiator.
• 5+years of experience in senior general management, regional leadership, orequivalent P&L responsibility.
• Demonstratedsuccess growing a multi-line service business organically and throughstrategic account development.
• Provenexperience building and leading high-performing operational and salesteams.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

• Workingknowledge of fire alarm, fire suppression, electronic security, andintercommunication systems.
• Abilityto lead credibly with technicians, customers, contractors, and AuthoritiesHaving Jurisdiction.
• Familiaritywith NFPA 72, NFPA 25, NFPA 101, and the New England regulatoryenvironment.
• Experienceworking with unionized labor, including union contracts, grievanceprocedures, and labor relations.
• Comfortwith field service management platforms and business reporting tools.

Education

• Bachelor'sdegree preferred or required, depending on experience.
• Equivalentdirectly relevant industry and leadership experience may be considered.
