Description:
Conduct labor and delivery assessments and provide nursing care to patients.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
Administer medications and manage pain relief measures.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Demonstrate competency in labor and delivery procedures and protocols.
Engage in professional development activities.
Respond promptly to emergencies and patient needs.
Complete required competencies and testing per facility standards.
