The Department of Emergency Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is currently recruiting a Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician. NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is a level 2 ACS trauma center, Stroke Center with Thrombectomy capability, STEMI/Cath center, and SAFE-designated center with 651-beds, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. The Department of Emergency Medicine sees approximately 100,000 patients per year in its adult and pediatric emergency departments. We have an established emergency medicine residency program with 39 total residents, pediatric emergency medicine fellowship with 6 total fellows, and emergency ultrasound fellowship with 5 fellows per year. Brooklyn truly has something for everyone. The salary range for this position is $285,000-$350,000. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role. The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and credentials.
