Store Operations Manager

Overview CubeSmart Self-Storage is looking for a Store Operations Manager to oversee customer service, property maintenance, and daily operations of a self-storage location. Responsibilities In your role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will manage and maintain the facility, engaging with customers, handling sales and leasing processes, and ensuring the property meets company standards. Develop and maintain customer relationships, identify self-storage needs, and provide appropriate solutions. Interact face-to-face with customers, delivering excellent service and building rapport. Meet monthly sales goals and metrics. Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units to customers. Resell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments using our POS system, complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls for late payments. Manage invoice review and approval within the database. Process invoices, manage reports, and administer the legal process of auctions. Oversee the store’s expense budget while maintaining supplies and retail inventory. Perform physical maintenance: daily walks, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and ensuring storage facilities meet company guidelines. Qualifications A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people. Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse market. A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus. Basic computer skills, including MS Office. Ability to work Saturdays; some locations may require Sunday hours. Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance. Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
