Birmingham Program Specialist

Overview The Program Specialist is the face of the Boosterthon program on elementary school campuses, helping schools reach fundraising goals by teaching a character-based curriculum, hosting the Boosterthon Fun Run, and engaging students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Responsibilities Teach and present a character-based curriculum to students. Set up and host the Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser. Motivate students to participate and raise funds for their school. Engage with teachers, parents, and school administrators. Model fitness, leadership, and character as part of a team. Qualifications & Experience Excellent communication skills—professional and enthusiastic written and verbal communication with students, faculty, and staff. Positive attitude—optimism, enthusiasm, and intentionality in interactions with clients and the team. Growth mindset—desire to learn and grow personally and professionally. Good judgment—strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Outcome-oriented—hard worker who gets tasks done efficiently and on time. Enthusiastic—connects eagerly with students, faculty, and staff. Additional Requirements Licensed driver with reliable transportation. Pass Booster's background and motor-vehicle check. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and remain active throughout the day. Full-day availability (7:00 am-4:00 pm) on scheduled workdays. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is $14-$16 per hour plus bonus opportunities. The position is non-exempt and offers opportunities for national travel and career development.
