The system has on-premises components deployed at multiple data centers, as well as use of commercial cloud resources. The Sponsor requires a team with a diverse background and strong organizational skills to facilitate the accreditation and document systems deployments across the environment. The team will work in a 24 hour, 7 day a week environment and provide in-depth Tier 2 through Tier 4 level support and problem resolution for technology products and applications. They will lead and perform engineering efforts in the areas of Windows and Linux servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization; perform data center management tasks such as physical capacity management, hardware installation and commissioning, inventory, decommissioning and removal, and destruction; and coordinate engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de-conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts. The team will gather performance and utilization metrics from infrastructure components and proactively inform the Sponsor when thresholds are me and maintain an accurate inventory for the Sponsor to include, but not limited to, accountable property and electronic network encryption devices. They will also manage and deploy infrastructure components such as installing cables and circuits and labeling cables, build and maintain desktop workstations and provide troubleshooting assistance and patching as needed, and perform Tier-3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure, consisting of virtual servers, virtual desktops, and automation solutions. They should be prepared to provide oversite and maintenance to Windows Group Policy, build and maintain Windows servers in an Amazon Web Service environment, and deploy and maintain configuration standards in accordance with Sponsor’s security posture.Must be a U.S. CitizenMust have an Active TS/SCI clearance with PolygraphThe engineer will provide in-depth Tier 2 through Tier 4 level support and problem resolution for technology products and applicationsThe engineer will shall lead and perform engineering efforts in the areas of Linux servers and workstationsDemonstrated experience performing configuration and management of VMware vCenter and VMware NSX-TThe engineer will coordinate engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de-conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts.Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining Active Directory, Domain Naming System (DNS), Distributed File System (DFS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)Demonstrated experience maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) in accordance with security postureDemonstrated experience supporting and operations and maintenance of infrastructure environmentsDemonstrated experience working with Splunk, Check_MK, McAffee EPO, and BitLockerAbility to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with the ability to handle stressful situationsExperience with RockyDemonstrated experience creating and presenting system documentation briefings to review and approval boardsDemonstrated experience performing Tier 1 through Tier 4 support, including both systems troubleshooting and incident tracking and managementDemonstrated hands on experience serving as an Engineering LeadDemonstrated hands on experience coordinating, scheduling, deconflicting, and resolving conflicts between IT engineering projectsDemonstrated hands on experience with the Sponsor’s property destruction processDemonstrated experience working with Center for Internet Security BenchmarksDemonstrated experience working with VMWare Horizon VDIDemonstrated experience managing Sponsors accountable and network encryption devices propertyMicrosoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)A+ Certified Service EngineerTarget salary range: $180K - $220K.*The estimate displayed is the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Website: and its wholly owned subsidiary RenXTech, are trusted partners to the national security community, delivering future-forward solutions and cutting-edge support across cyber, technical, analytical, intelligence, and mission operations.
