Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Greater Charleston, WV Schedule: Full-Time Pay: Up to $20hr (based on experience) About the Opportunity Are you an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in ensuring facilities are safe, clean, and operating smoothly? We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years of maintenance experience to join our team. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining our facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities Facility Cleanliness & Order – Perform heavy cleaning duties including floor care, rug shampooing, wall and window washing, and waste removal to maintain a clean and organized facility. Routine Maintenance & Equipment Care – Monitor and perform basic maintenance on building systems such as furnaces and boilers, helping ensure safe and efficient operation. Conduct routine inspections and notify management of repair needs before issues become major problems. Outdoor Grounds Management Remove snow, debris, and other hazards from sidewalks, entrances, and common areas to keep the property safe and accessible. Proactive Facility Upkeep Complete regular facility walkthroughs, identify maintenance concerns, and take action to uphold high facility standards. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or related experience. Strong understanding of general building maintenance, cleaning procedures, and facility operations. Ability to identify maintenance issues and address routine repairs independently. Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
