Clinical Interventional RadiologistThe Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our clinical faculty on the non-tenure clinical track. Appointment rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position offers the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive interventional radiology practice within an academic medical center while contributing to the department's missions in patient care and education.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive interventional radiology patient careTeach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical studentsParticipate in scholarly activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teamsContribute to the development and adoption of emerging interventional procedures and techniques within the practiceClinical Expertise:Candidates must demonstrate experience and competency in a wide range of interventional procedures, including:Y90 radioembolization (glass)DEB-TACEUterine artery embolization (UAE)Percutaneous tumor ablationsTIPS and other portal interventionsPulmonary/bronchial angiography and embolizationPercutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTHD) and biliary interventionsPercutaneous nephrostomiesFistulagrams and declot proceduresVertebral augmentationSpine and pain interventionsSclerotherapyTrauma interventionsArterial, venous, portal, and pulmonary thrombolysisCore/basic interventional proceduresThe University of Florida is a leading academic institution and academic health center in the Southeast, offering a strong environment for clinical care, education, and research.Expected Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The University of Florida offers a comprehensive benefits package.Required Qualifications:Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.Hold or be eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Florida.Additionally, the selected candidate must obtain IR/DR certification within one (1) year of the start date.Preferred: Preferred candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship or an ACGME-accredited IR/DR Residency.Special Instructions to Applicants: Qualified applicants should submit a CV and cover letter for consideration.
